Visions for a new center for a new Aryatara Institut.

The Aryatara Institut is a charitable association located in Munich which aims at giving all people access to the Buddha's teachings.

We are providing a comprehensive teaching and meditation program for the development of altruism and the creation of true happiness. Since the end of 1980 when it was founded, the Aryatara Insitute has found accomodation in various premises. Many highly regarded teachers of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition have visited the center and have conveyed the growing group of interested people the Buddha's teaching.

Numerous volunteers were helping to make the center to what it is today: a house of study and meditation, offering approximately 300 events a year. Following the wish of our teachers, we are looking for a house for the Aryatara Institut in which the growing number of people who are interested in the Mahayana teachings can find better premises for the instructions, meditations, retreats and seminaries.

Our way into the future

With our "New Center" project we actively contribute to the promotion of human values in the society.

The future Aryatara Institute is an open-minded education, meeting and cultural center. To convey ethic values, compassion and universal responsibility, we offer a wide range of buddhist, secular and interreligious programs - therefore we need a new, bigger home. Specifically we are looking for a free-standing building with 3 or 4 floors of at least 1,000 sqm area, a cafe/restaurant, parking spaces and a garden.
